Checking In

It occurs to me that there's a huge difference between "checking in" and "checking out." I wonder where these phrases come from. (I can't help it, I'm a word freak.)

I'm checking in today with Berry Barn Designs 30/30 Challenge, to report on my progress in my 30/30 Challenge. This is a challenge to yourself to sew for yourself, for at least 30 minutes, 30 days this month. Sew selfishly. Can be hard to do.

I have succeeded this week. Maybe not 30 minutes each day, but collectively, I have sewn 210 minutes for myself.

I worked on quilts for myself in the Quiltmobile, and today, I've been quilting on my Mom's quilt from the 60's.
