Olympics redux

I posted here how I feel about the Olympics.

What a kick it would be to win a medal.
Well, I know I will never win an Olympic medal, so I'm going to give myself a chance to win some O-Lin-pic  medals. There's lots of things I need to do regarding quilting, so now to make myself some categories.
How about re-organizing, finishing, cleaning the room, lining up UFOs, and pressing?
Since I'm the only one competing in this O-Lin-pics, I have a pretty good chance of winning some medals, right?
Anyone else care to join me in making your own Olympic goals? Make your own categories and let me know. We can do the happy dance together when we win.

Got to see two of my beautiful grand daughters yesterday. Happy dance for me. I need a grand daughter fix every so often. Just love those little hugs. We saw Miss Seven and Miss Five. Miss Seven asked to go to a Mexican restaurant. We were glad to oblige her. Then she ordered a cheeseburger and fries. We asked why she wanted to go Mexican if she doesn't want Mexican food. She likes the chips and salsa before the meal. sigh. But fun to keep them young. Our other grand daughter is Miss Thirteen. She's 5 hours away from us. Much too far.And getting much too old. But a teenager and inclined to order big meals when we go out. More adventurous than Five and Seven. Sigh. I sure wish I could see them all, all the time.

Well, I have a lot of work to do to win medals. I better get to it!

I blatantly stole this idea for the Olympic medals from Asimplelife quilts. I just loved Deb's idea.

I'm linking up today with Stitchbystitch
