First Supernova Block

I worked on my first Supernova Block tonight! The first one took quite a bit of time, what with stitching, unstitching, stitching, unstitching. The directions have a solid green as their background fabric, and I have a solid green, not background fabric. I kept getting mixed up. I had to make myself a cheat sheet.

Here's my first block. When I make Pam's, the points should come out a little better, being a little used to it.

WOWSERS! I like it!
Hope Pam will too.

Thanks,
Lin

Looks great ... and so complicated! Good for taking on such a huge task.

I really like all the greens, great fabric choices. It looks so hard, can't wait to see the others.

Awesome -- how many blocks total will be in the finished quilt? PP

Your block looks great! Your swap sounds fun. I would enjoy making a giant block like this. (I love one block quilts.)

Glad to see your first block for the friendship swap, Lin! It's a great design and I look forward to seeing the combinations you will be coning up with in the coming months!

Great block! Love the Kaffe fabrics in it - and while green is not my color, I think that this will be smashing!
