My dogs always loved to play in the snow! We had two German Shepherds who have both gone to doggy heaven, and I have great memories of them running and playing in the snow together.
That is awesome! When I used to live in Rochester NY, my then puppy made tracks like that all the time. She does not have much opportunity anymore now that we are in SC.
